Description: A nice updated graphic adds a new look, but underneath remains the same performing racquet. Surprisingly stable and solid for its light, 9.8 ounce strung weight, the Drive Z-Lite Cortex combines maneuverability with a pleasing feel at impact. We found this racquet very spin friendly both when hitting groundstrokes and serves. The weight and balance of the racquet make it easy to swing fast, allowing for plenty of pace and spin on shots. Players will find a very similar response to the previous Babolat Tennis Rackets, but this version offers improved comfort and feel thanks to the Cortex System. Located just above the handle, the Cortex System is designed to filter out harmful racquet vibrations, yet still allow the player to feel the ball. Our TW testers found the racquet to offer a high level of comfort, with a slightly more dampened feel compared to the Cortex System used on the Pure Drive range.
